Welcome to Girls In Research. By enrolling in our programs, you agree to the following terms and conditions. These terms apply to all scholars/students.

1. Program Participation

1.1 By enrolling your child in a Girls In Research program, you agree to ensure their active participation, including completing assignments and adhering to the program schedule.

1.2 Scholars are expected to actively engage with their mentors and participate in all scheduled sessions.

2. Financial Commitment

2.1 A holding fee is required upon enrollment to secure your child’s spot in the program.

2.2 This holding fee will be reimbursed only if Girls In Research is unable to find a suitable mentor for your child.

2.3 The remaining balance is due after the scholar is matched with a mentor, and must be paid prior to the program start date.

2.4 All payments are non-refundable, except under exceptional circumstances as determined by Girls In Research, or as specified in clause 2.2.

3. Responsibilities

3.1 Scholars must follow all program guidelines and respect their mentorship relationship.

3.2 Parents/Guardians agree to support their child’s participation and ensure attendance at all scheduled sessions.

4. Termination

4.1 Girls In Research reserves the right to terminate a scholar’s participation for failure to comply with program guidelines or any other reasons deemed necessary by the organization.

5. Confidentiality

5.1 All proprietary information and materials related to the program must remain confidential and not be disclosed to third parties.

6. Intellectual Property

6.1 Scholars retain ownership of any intellectual property they generate during the program.

6.2 Scholars must acknowledge Girls In Research in any publication or presentation of materials generated in connection with the program.

6.3 The acknowledgment should state: "This research was conducted as part of Girls In Research." or similar.

7. Miscellaneous

7.1 Girls In Research does not guarantee specific outcomes or results from the program. The success and progress of the scholar depend on various factors, including their participation and effort.

7.2 These terms constitute the entire understanding between the parties.

7.3 These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales.
