  • Quick FAQ's

    Mentorship Role

As a Research Scholar mentor, you will guide a GIR scholar in writing a university-level research paper within your area of expertise. Each topic is carefully selected to align with the scholar's original interests and aspirations. Though there may be a creative component for the Arts and Business tracks.

    Who Are Our Mentors?

We select mentors based on their subject matter expertise, regardless of gender. While our scholars are all female, our mentor pool is equally balanced between male and female mentors. Both genders are highly valued and equally popular with our scholars.

    Flexible Work

Mentorship operates on a contract basis, scholar by scholar. There is no required time commitment before being matched with a scholar. Once matched, you have the option to accept or decline the contract. Our payout system to mentors is through the international platform Wise, which allows our mentors to be paid, swiftly, and easily from all over the globe.

    Global and Virtual

All mentorship is conducted remotely. Our scholars, hailing from 5 continents, are all fluent in English and represent a diverse range of cultural and academic backgrounds. Our mentors are not required to be a native English speaker, we accept mentors of all international backgrounds (in fact, we encourage it!), our selection is mainly based on your academic history.

    Which Universities Are Accepted?

We accept mentors with educational backgrounds from the following universities:

USA: Harvard, MIT, Yale, Columbia, Princeton, UPenn, Brown, Dartmouth, Cornell, Caltech, Stanford, Duke, UChicago, John Hopkins
